Become a Zensus avatar

For recipe and cooking-video creators, during our open beta only. Zensus users pick an avatar to represent them while they track what they eat. Apply to have one made of you: we design it, you approve it, and your fans claim it free in the app — with your handle and the food you cook shown alongside it.

We make an avatar of you

  • We design and produce a stylised avatar of you at our cost, and you approve it before it goes live.
  • Your fans claim it in the app for free. It shows your name, your handle and your food style — that's your exposure.
  • No money changes hands either way. No posting quota and no exclusivity. If you post about it, you still need to label it #ad.
  • It's part of our open beta (until 22 June 2027). When the beta ends, creator avatars are removed from the app and every avatar after that is Zensus's own.

Questions

Do I need the app? No. If you already use it, you can also apply from Profile → Feedback inside the app.

Do I get paid? No. Creator avatars are always free for your fans and no money changes hands either way — what you get is your avatar in the app, with your handle and food style, in front of Zensus users.

How long does it last? Only during our open beta, which currently ends on 22 June 2027. When it ends, creator avatars are removed from the app for everyone, and from then on every avatar is Zensus's own.

Can I change my mind later? Yes. Either side can end the deal on 30 days' notice, and the avatar is then removed from the app.

I'm not a cooking creator — can I apply? Not at the moment. The programme is for recipe and cooking-video creators only.

Can I send my own drawing or design? No. We design every avatar ourselves from photos or descriptions of you, so please don't send artwork.

Is my avatar made with AI? We use AI tools as part of our art process. You choose in your agreement whether we can use your photos for that. If you say no, we work from descriptions only.
