Data Deletion Instructions

Effective date: to be set on launch

Provider: ZENSUS LTD · Company number 17334115 · Registered in England & Wales

This page explains how to request deletion of your Zensus account and personal data, including if you signed up or logged in using a third-party provider such as Facebook, Google, Apple, or Microsoft.

1. Delete your account from inside the app (fastest way)

  1. Open the Zensus app and go to your Profile
  2. Open Account settings
  3. Select Delete Account

Your account is scheduled for deletion with a 30-day grace period, so a mistaken tap or a change of mind doesn't cost you your data. You can cancel the deletion at any time during those 30 days from the same Account screen (Cancel Deletion). If you take no action, your account and personal data — including food logs, measurements, exercise records, and sleep data — are permanently and irreversibly deleted once the 30 days elapse. Financial/subscription records are pseudonymised rather than deleted, as required for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes; see our Data Retention Policy for the full breakdown by data type.

2. If you can no longer access the app

If you signed up using Facebook, Google, Apple, or Microsoft and no longer have access to that account, or you've otherwise lost access to the app, email us instead:

Email: [email protected]
Subject: Account Deletion Request
Include the email address or account identifier you registered with, so we can locate your account.

We will verify the request and process deletion under the same terms as the in-app flow above.

3. Removing Zensus from your Facebook account directly

Independently of deleting your Zensus account, you can revoke Zensus's access to your Facebook data at any time via Facebook itself: Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → find Zensus → Remove. This stops Zensus from being able to sign you in via Facebook, but does not by itself delete your Zensus account or the data already stored in it — use section 1 or 2 above for that.
