Marketing Preferences

Zensus would like to send you occasional emails. This page tells you exactly what those emails are, how to stop them at any time, and how we handle your email address when sending them. This consent is entirely optional. Refusing it has no effect on your account and does not remove any app feature.
1. What We Send
Your weekly nutrition report — a personalised summary of your nutrition for the past week (calorie totals, macronutrient breakdown, and any targets you set), generated directly from your Zensus account and sent on a regular weekly schedule.
General business updates — occasional emails about meaningful updates to the app, new features, important changes, or announcements relevant to your use of Zensus. We do not send frequent promotional campaigns.
We do not send sponsored content, third-party advertising, or affiliate marketing emails. We do not share your email address with any advertiser or brand partner.
2. How Your Email Is Used
Your email address is transmitted to Mailgun (a Sinch company), our email delivery provider, solely to send you the emails described above. Mailgun acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement and may not use your email address for its own purposes.
Mailgun is headquartered in the United States. Transfers from the UK and EU to Mailgun are made under Standard Contractual Clauses (UK IDTA for UK transfers; EU SCCs for EU transfers) and Mailgun's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. No other third party receives your email address as a result of this consent.
3. Lawful Basis
We send marketing emails on the basis of your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a); EU GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You are free to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of any sending that occurred before withdrawal.
4. How to Opt Out
You can withdraw consent at any time — no questions asked — in the app: Profile → Notifications → turn off "Marketing emails". This stops both the weekly report and any general updates immediately. Transactional emails (account verification, password reset, purchase receipts) are unaffected — they are sent regardless of this preference because they are required to operate your account.
